Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to assist in developing scalable backend services using Node.js and MongoDB. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of server-side programming, API development, and database management. Exposure to cloud platforms and microservices architecture will be considered an added advantage. Interns will have the opportunity to work on our real estate product, www.hexahome.in, gaining practical experience in a dynamic development environment. Roles and responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend services using Node.js
• Support in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Help in managing and optimizing databases using MongoDB
• Contribute to writing clean, reusable, and efficient server-side code
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting backend issues
• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for backend development
• Support in implementing security and data protection measures

Skills

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and server-side programming
• Understanding of MongoDB and database management
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
• Basic experience with Git version control
• Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts
• Eagerness to learn backend architecture and scalable solutions
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a bonus
• Awareness of security best practices in backend development

Preferred Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of experience in backend development or relevant projects
• Exposure to microservices architecture is a plus
