Job Description

We are looking for a motivated DevOps Intern to assist in implementing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of cloud platforms, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting (Bash, Python). Exposure to monitoring tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) is a bonus. Interns will have the opportunity to work on our real estate product, www.hexahome.in, gaining practical experience in a fast-paced DevOps environment. We are seeking immediate joiners with a passion for learning and improving development workflows.

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Help maintain and optimize infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Support in containerizing applications using Docker and managing Kubernetes clusters
• Monitor system performance and resolve operational issues
• Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment processes
• Participate in debugging and troubleshooting production issues
• Document DevOps processes and contribute to knowledge sharing

Skills

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages
• Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
• Awareness of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Eagerness to learn and optimize deployment pipelines
• Basic knowledge of Linux system administration

Preferred Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of experience in DevOps or related projects
• Exposure to version control tools like Git
• Basic understanding of networking and security in cloud environments
• Willingness to work in an Agile development environment
