Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Junior Frontend Developer Intern to assist in building responsive UIs using Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of mobile responsiveness, API integration, and creating scalable UI components. Exposure to Node.js and MongoDB will be considered an added advantage. Interns will have the opportunity to work on our real estate product, www.hexahome.in, gaining practical experience in a fast-paced development environment. We are seeking immediate joiners with a willingness to learn and grow.

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist in developing responsive user interfaces using React.js and Next.js
• Support in ensuring mobile responsiveness with Tailwind CSS
• Help in integrating APIs and managing data effectively
• Contribute to writing clean, reusable, and scalable code for UI components
• Collaborate with senior developers and designers to enhance usability
• Optimize web pages for speed and scalability
• Participate in debugging and troubleshooting UI issues across devices
• Engage in code reviews and learn best development practices

Skills

• Basic knowledge of Next.js, React.js, and JavaScript
• Understanding of Tailwind CSS for responsive design
• Familiarity with mobile-first development
• Basic experience in API integration and state management
• Understanding of Git version control
• Eagerness to learn and write maintainable components
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Exposure to Node.js and MongoDB is a bonus

Preferred Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of experience in frontend development or relevant projects
• Exposure to Node.js and MongoDB is a plus
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
• Willingness to work in an Agile development environment
• A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies
