Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Mobile Developer Intern to assist in building cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of hybrid app development, working with APIs, and deploying apps for iOS and Android platforms. Exposure to debugging tools, performance optimization, and app store publishing will be considered an added advantage. Interns will have the opportunity to work on our real estate product, www.hexahome.in, gaining practical experience in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking immediate joiners eager to learn and grow.

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native
• Support in creating hybrid apps for iOS and Android platforms
• Help in integrating APIs and managing app data
• Contribute to writing clean, reusable, and efficient code for mobile apps
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless functionality
• Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization of apps
• Engage in code reviews and follow best practices for mobile development
• Support in deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play Store

Skills

• Basic knowledge of React Native and hybrid app development
• Understanding of iOS and Android app development
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration
• Basic experience with Git version control
• Understanding of debugging and performance optimization techniques
• Eagerness to learn mobile app architecture and design patterns
• Exposure to app store deployment processes is a bonus
• Awareness of UI/UX principles for mobile apps

Preferred Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of experience in mobile app development or relevant projects
• Exposure to Firebase, Expo, or similar mobile frameworks is a plus
• Basic understanding of push notifications and in-app updates
• Willingness to work in an Agile development environment
• Proactive attitude towards learning new tools and frameworks
